PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Sr. Advanced Software Engineer to join forces with a global aerospace leader recognized for cutting‑edge innovation and technical excellence. Design, develop, and implement advanced software programming applications.

Modify and enhance existing systems to optimize performance and capabilities.

Install, configure, and support software applications and operating systems.

Collaborate in testing activities, including test review, analysis, witnessing, and certification.

Leverage your expertise to guide junior engineers and contribute to high‑level project planning.

Work independently and as part of a team to solve complex engineering challenges.

• Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4‑6 years of relevant software development experience.
• Solid understanding of software development principles, practices, and methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex tasks with limited supervision.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies:
  1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or
  2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.

  Preferred: Experience in aerospace, defense, or other high‑reliability industries.
• • Previous leadership or mentorship of engineering teams.
• • Proficiency in multiple programming languages and platforms.
• • Experience with testing and certification processes in highly regulated environments.

$70.00 per hour
