We are seeking a highly skilled Network/Cloud/Security Engineer to support and engineer complex network, cloud, storage, and security infrastructure for a state agency. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in enterprise network hardware, storage systems, Active Directory administration, and technical infrastructure design. This role is fully onsite and requires hands‑on support, strong documentation skills, and the ability to work in a highly structured environment.
Key Responsibilities- Engineer and implement network, cloud, and security solutions across enterprise infrastructure
- Develop infrastructure designs, architecture diagrams, and technical documentation
- Install, configure, and support network hardware, servers, and virtual environments
- Administer firewalls, storage systems, access controls, DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory
- Maintain NAS systems, backups, updates, and troubleshooting
- Support servers, NAS devices, lab networks, and workstation hardware
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure secure, efficient, and reliable system operations
- Expert-level experience with:
- Cisco Catalyst
, HP Aruba
, Mellanox/Nvidia (Cumulus/NVue) hardware - Lenovo Unified Storage (Natapp FAS) and Lenovo Think Systems
- Strong experience designing, managing, and engineering network hardware/software
- Solid administration skills in Active Directory
, DNS, DHCP, and Windows Servers - Experience maintaining NAS systems and managing archival backups
- Familiarity with TrueNAS
- Strong documentation, analytical, and communication skills
- Experience with system testing tools and troubleshooting performance issues
- Ability to manage complex IT/security/networking projects
- Experience with forensic workstation setup and hardware configuration
- Ability to testify in court regarding server and data integrity
- Antivirus update management and license tracking
- Network mapping and advanced system documentation
