Who We Are:

We are a Mid-Sized Semiconductor manufacturer in Phoenix, Arizona.

We are seeking an Environmental Health Safety Specialist (EHS) to join our growing team!

What We Do:

Manufacture and provide electronic-grade silicon wafers for the semiconductor industry.

What You'll Do:

  • Work with the Sr. EHS Manager on Safety compliance programs at assigned facility including Lock out/Tag Out program, Respiratory protection program, Fall protection program.
  • Conduct risk assessments related to jobs performed (Job Hazard Analysis).
  • Maintain and manage the Arsenic Program.
  • Maintain and manage the Emergency Response Team.
  • Assist in internal EHS Auditing.
  • Maintain the appropriate training and skills to conduct the tasks noted above.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.

What You Need to Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental or safety science or engineering or other physical science or commensurate experience in site-level EHS compliance in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Experience working with regulators during routine inspections, permit applications, and modifications.
  • Basic knowledge of environmental and safety regulations associated with a manufacturing facility.
  • An understanding of and practical experience in Safety regulations; OSHA regulations Standards 29 CFR
    1910 and 29 CFR
    1926.
  • A working understanding and experience with conducting accident/injury investigations including root cause analyses.
