Registered Architect – Phoenix, AZ

Our client, a leader in innovative building solutions, seeks a talented Registered Architect to join their growing team in Phoenix, AZ. This role offers a chance to collaborate with engineers, production specialists, and clients to design practical, code‑compliant, and creative building solutions.

Pay Range

$110,000 / yr – $150,000 / yr (including full benefits package, health insurance, HSA, 401(k), paid time off, holidays)

Key Responsibilities
  • Review, mark‑up, and approve full sets of architectural, structural, MEP, and plumbing plans for buildings
  • Optimize designs for fabrication, transport, and cost efficiency
  • Secure state and third‑party approvals nationwide
  • Mentor 3–6 corporate designers and share building‑code expertise company‑wide
  • Collaborate daily with clients, engineers, plants, estimators, and dealers
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture and an active Registered Architect license (Arizona required; willingness to pursue licensure in additional states is a plus)
  • NCARB certificate with portfolio of completed projects
  • Demonstrated experience in building design, including life safety egress plans, calculations, and basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
  • Strong working knowledge of IBC/IRC, IMC, IPC, IEC
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (fluent English required; Spanish proficiency is a bonus) and a collaborative, team‑oriented mindset
  • Preferred:
    Experience with wood, steel, or hybrid construction methods (with integrated steel chassis), and/or prior work on military projects (e.g., SCIF or security clearance‑related)
