Ankura’s construction experts provide services to clients on construction projects across all industries to avoid, manage and mitigate execution risks throughout the project lifecycle.

Services
  • Expert Dispute Resolution Services: Analysts conduct complex issue analysis in construction disputes, including comprehensive delay and cost studies, to determine root causes and present clear, concise conclusions to aid dispute resolution.
  • Advisory Services: Experts use extensive industry experience to offer risk management, project planning, cost advisory and project management support at early stages of construction project life cycles.
Role Overview

As a Construction Associate in Ankura’s Construction Disputes & Advisory group, you will develop analytical skills while being immersed in client services. Associates work directly with project leaders and experts, performing detailed analyses, project schedule, cost, productivity and statistical reviews, and assisting with document reviews and database creation/management. Early career opportunities may involve client‑facing work, supporting stakeholders in complex construction challenges across major projects.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with data gathering, document review, and database creation/management.
  • Perform detailed analyses of project schedule delays, cost records, productivity, change orders and other design and construction issues.
  • Use various computer software to analyze and model schedules, contractor production rates, and costs.
  • Produce high quality work products and demonstrate exceptional quality control.
  • Prepare client‑ready work product for senior‑level review.
  • Support company and business group development efforts.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a business‑related major with strong academic performance; expected graduation between December 2025 and June 2026.
  • Fluency in Spanish (reading, writing, speaking).
  • Highly motivated, driven, energetic, and collaborative attitude.
  • Creative/analytical problem‑solving ability and collaborative mindset.
  • Proficiency in technology to solve complex problems.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to multiple evolving tasks and changing priorities.
  • Ability to produce high‑quality deliverables under tight deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel and work overtime as needed.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Primavera scheduling tools and CPM techniques desirable.
  • Must be able to produce a permanent authorization to work in the U.S. (U.S. citizen or permanent resident). Internships and visa sponsorship are not available.
Compensation

Ankura is required to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The disclosed range estimate is between $50,000 and $120,000. This range does not include additional benefits outside of salary.
