Job DescriptionTurner & Townsend are seeking an experienced Sr Quality Assurance PM, Mechanical to join our Data Center Construction team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience supporting large-scale construction projects.
On site 5-days a week

Responsibilities- Effectively manage and collaborate with project stakeholders.
- Communicate across the internal team to ensure efficiency and consistent delivery to the client.
- Analyze, track, and manage critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slip.
- Verify that effective project governance, processes and systems are utilized.
- Ensure application of best practice on all projects.
- Produce formal project status reports and other reports as required.
- Monitor progress of multiple construction projects simultaneously to ensure approved design standards are applied correctly.
- Manage the interface between all suppliers through monthly trackers and weekly reviews.
- Manage flow of project information between the project team through regular meetings and written communications.
- Forecast and update key project milestones.
- Manage and monitor local design teams in accordance with commission criteria.
- Provide technical support to owners, architects, general contractors and regional stakeholders.
- Rapid response to RFIs from the field.
- Provide expertise for cost control, value engineering, and constructability guidance where required.
- Independent review of status reports, drawing submittals, timelines and costs from architects, contractors and suppliers.
- Client management – assist in developing excellent working relationships with clients, maximizing new opportunities.
- Strategic thinking – provide advice to project teams on approaches that can be adopted to successfully achieve both client and business objectives.
- Knowledge management – ensure key information and learnings from each project are captured.
- Process improvement – identify ways to improve internal systems and processes.
- SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, where applicable.
- Cross‑functional collaboration with all stakeholders including the Client QA team, Cx Agent, GC, trade partners, AE team and equipment vendors.
- Chair and manage quality control meetings including stakeholder kickoff, weekly maintenance meetings and a culminating scope completion meeting including final scope walk and report.
- Detail tracking of RFIs and driving issue resolution.
- Manage and issue weekly reporting and escalations.
- Provide weekly GC schedule reviews, issue comments and solution feedback.
- Coordinate inspections with trade partners and local AHJ.
- Observation closure verification.
- Handover documentation collection and management.
- Final commissioning collaboration.
- Develop lessons learned documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–7 years of relevant project management experience, specifically with mechanical systems in the built environment.
- Strong organizational and management skills – ability to work effectively and collaboratively with the broader team.
- Background working in design or construction with mechanical or BMS controls experience.
- Experience working in a vendor equipment factory supporting quality control processes of mechanical equipment.
- Experience in commissioning of mechanical systems and equipment in mission‑critical data centers.
- Proficiency managing construction documents including BODs, specifications, contract drawings, C/D/E’s, equipment submittals and RFIs.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Procore, Project, Smartsheets and other construction project management tools.
