Key Responsibilities- Act as a technical specialist or Project Lead, delivering design‑only, design‑build, and construction‑only projects in Electrical Engineering for Data Centers.
- Provide subject‑matter expertise in Data Center design, including design risk factors for redundancy and resiliency.
- Offer technical guidance to engineering and technician staff on client standards and expectations during detailed design.
- Coordinate with local electrical utilities and review supplier submittals.
- Build business relationships with clients to understand needs and drivers.
- Maintain complex engineering deliverables, perform advanced engineering calculations, and manage budgets, schedules, and quality requirements.
- Mentor lower‑level professionals and support continuous improvement and change management efforts.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Previous experience within Data Centers and/or Data Center Facility Design.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD/Revit/BIM and 3D modeling for Autodesk Revit.
- Experience with BIM 360, Navisworks, Revit work sets, and project phasing.
- Strong knowledge of data center tier rating systems and design differences in hyper‑scale, edge, and colocation data centers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to lead projects, including managing schedules, budgets, and staffing.
- Self‑motivated to deliver results on a fast‑paced schedule.
- Attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years related work experience.
- Active engineering registration or licensure to support engineer of record requirements in applicable countries.
