PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a global leader in the aerospace industry to find a talented CAD Designer
. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in transforming engineering concepts into precise, manufacturable designs that power cutting‑edge aerospace technology.
- Develop and maintain detailed 2D/3D CAD models and engineering drawings using AutoCAD and PTC Creo
. - Model parts and assemblies, ensuring compliance with ASME standards and GD&T practices.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to clarify requirements and implement design changes.
- Manage drawing/model revisions and release workflows using PLM systems (Teamcenter).
- Conduct self‑checks and peer reviews for accuracy and standards compliance.
- Support change control processes and supplier documentation needs.
- 4+ years of CAD design/drafting experience in mechanical/manufacturing or aerospace environments.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and PTC Creo for parts and assemblies.
- Strong knowledge of ASME drawing practices and GD&T standards.
- Hands‑on experience with PLM/EDM systems for revision control and release workflows.
- Familiarity with MBD, DFM, DFA
, and manufacturing practices such as DFMEA and PFMEA. - Proficiency with Visio Pro, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Office Suite
.
- Aerospace industry experience with complex assemblies or high‑tolerance components.
- Experience with large CAD assemblies, sheet metal design, composites, or machined parts.
- Familiarity with additional CAD/PLM tools (CATIA, NX, Solid Works, Windchill).

Pay: $50.00 per hour
