Senior Environmental Geologist, Engineer or Scientist

Ninyo & Moore has openings for a Senior Environmental Geologists, Engineers or Scientists in our Phoenix, AZ office. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing environmental site assessments (Phase I and II ESAs), facility investigations, other hazardous waste site investigations, technical report writing and mentoring of future leaders. Other job duties may include: establishing project objectives, procedures and performance standards, and training multi‑disciplinary teams on site reconnaissance;

various office tasks such as management of projects and budgets, proposal writing and pricing strategies, and related marketing efforts needed to develop winning proposals. The candidate must be willing to maintain and enhance our relationships with clients, regulatory approval agencies, and industry professionals by providing exceptional service.

8+ years’ experience performing most or all of the tasks listed above with at least 5 years of managing and/or coordinating project budgets and staff. Candidate must also have solid base writing skills, attention to detail, effective inter‑communication skills, familiarity with Phase I (ASTM E1527-21), Phase II (ASTM E1903), and ability to work independently when required. Collaboration and mentoring of technical staff on reports and field assignments, and preparation of technical report deliverables, is a must.

Mentor and provide direct, hands‑on assistance when teaching verbal and written skills to project and staff environmental professionals.
