WSP Water is currently looking for a Senior Water / Wastewater Engineer-Phoenix in Phoenix, AZ to be involved in projects with our team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges. Our ideal candidate has an interest in learning and being engaged in a variety of projects including municipal, industrial and mining water / wastewater conveyance and treatment.

The primary focus of the position is project work for the development of engineering studies, design reports, construction documents, and construction oversight/administration related to water and wastewater infrastructure in the municipal and industrial markets in Arizona and across the country.

Your Impact

• Provide engineering services in support of planning, studies, analysis and design of water and wastewater treatment and collection / distribution systems, major/minor conveyance systems, water and wastewater modeling of existing and/or proposed systems including pump/lift stations, groundwater wells, chemical feed systems, and storage reservoirs.
• Prepare design computations and quantity estimates.
• Create detailed designs of water and wastewater treatment, water conveyance systems and wastewater collection systems
• Work with CAD designers to prepare plans/drawings for water and wastewater infrastructure systems. Ability to use CAD software is considered a plus
• Occasional field work and travel to project sites in the US may be required.
  
  Approximately 5% overnight travel.

Who Are You

• BS degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other related engineering field. MS is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 – 7 years of relevant experience (may include post-graduate work)
• PE or PE eligibility desired; having an AZ PE a plus
• Demonstrated experience with engineering of multi-disciplined water/wastewater projects
• Proficiency in detailed designs of water and wastewater treatment, water conveyance systems and wastewater collection systems
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills have the ability to work on multiple, unique assignments simultaneously
• Must possess clear verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to coordinate meetings, conduct effective client presentations and prepare written reports
• Self-motivated, team-oriented, hardworking and intent on doing great work
• Ability and willingness to travel to project sitesin the US may be required. Approximately 5% overnight travel.
• Must pass background check and must have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Company’s driving policy
