Smart Guy Solutions is hiring a Design and Engineering Manager to lead technical design for our commercial security projects in Phoenix or Mesa, AZ. Pay runs $90,000 to $100,000 per year, and you need 5+ years of commercial physical security design and engineering experience with strong knowledge of video surveillance and access control. You will take a customer requirement to a documented project the field can execute.

You bring IP networking fundamentals, working knowledge of intrusion and intercom systems, and coordinate with customer IT teams.
You bring the ability to produce or direct professional drawings.
You bring strong estimating judgment and understand how design decisions affect labor, margin, and schedule.
We design and install commercial security systems, including CCTV, access control, intrusion, and intercom.
We also handle audio visual, fiber optics, and cabling.
We are building our engineering function as we grow into new markets.
Design CCTV, access control, intrusion, and intercom systems for customer projects.
Run site surveys and technical discovery.
Build bills of material, labor estimates, scopes, and proposals.
Produce drawings and deployment documentation.
Pay is $90,000 to $100,000 per year, based on experience and demonstrated capability.
Full time, onsite in the Phoenix or Mesa, AZ area, with travel to customer sites.
Direct influence over how the company designs and builds projects as it grows.
