** WHAT YOU WILL DO (WHEN THE TIME COMES):
*** Lead and coordinate all aspects of the design process for utility-scale solar PV projects from preliminary design through Issued for Construction (IFC) drawings.
* Manage Engineers of Record (EORs), consultants, and other third-party design partners to ensure quality, schedule, and project requirements are achieved.
* Facilitate communication between internal engineering, procurement, construction, and operations teams to support successful project execution.
* Review project designs and coordinate feedback from subject matter experts, clients, and stakeholders while ensuring comments are tracked and resolved.
* Ensure designs comply with client requirements, safety expectations, and applicable industry codes and standards.
* Coordinate RFIs, submittals, engineering transmittals, and document control processes throughout the design lifecycle.
* Support procurement activities by coordinating major material approvals, managing design impacts on materials, and collaborating on Bills of Major Materials.
* Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving design enhancements while maintaining project quality and performance.
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, Engineers of Record, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
* Support contract execution by reviewing technical exhibits, scopes of work, and engineering requirements.
* Participate in project meetings, site visits, and cross-functional collaboration efforts to drive project success.
** WHAT WE LOOK FOR:
*** Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* 5+ years of experience in design leadership, project engineering, design management, or design execution.
* Experience supporting utility-scale solar PV, renewable energy, power generation, or infrastructure projects.
* Strong understanding of engineering design processes and multidisciplinary project coordination.
* Experience working with Engineers of Record, consultants, subcontractors, and client stakeholders.
* Ability to manage multiple complex projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
* Knowledge of two or more engineering disciplines, including civil, electrical, mechanical, or commissioning, preferred.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Visio.
* Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
* Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% as project needs require.
