Senior Electrical Engineer - Airports (P.E.) | Airport Electrical Design
Remote Candidates Considered - USA
What You’ll Do- Lead electrical engineering efforts for complex airport and aviation infrastructure projects.
- Develop and oversee the design of airport electrical systems, including airfield lighting, terminal power distribution, standby power systems, and other mission-critical airport infrastructure.
- Drive engineering strategy, QA/QC, commissioning, and project delivery.
- Support proposals, client presentations, and business development efforts within the aviation market.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop engineering talent.
- Provide technical leadership on large, complex, and high-visibility airport projects.
- Collaborate with airport authorities, architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary design teams to deliver innovative solutions.
- Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) License
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering field
- 10+ years of electrical engineering design experience
- Proven experience designing electrical systems for airports and aviation facilities, including terminals, airfield infrastructure, and support facilities
- Strong knowledge of airport electrical codes, standards, and regulatory requirements
- Experience leading multidisciplinary design teams and managing complex projects
- Excellent client-facing, communication, and leadership skills
- Experience with major commercial, international, or hub airport projects
- Familiarity with FAA standards and airport infrastructure requirements
- Experience supporting business development and client relationship management
