We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as an Event Security Coordinator with the Security Department. This position will be responsible for supporting the operation of the Security Department. This includes administrative functions such as the development of event-day documents and weekly email briefings, maintenance of uniform, wristband and office supplies, preparation of new team member orientation materials, team member engagement, and small event management.
What Will You Do:
- Coordinate with Security Managers develop event-day documents including briefing, assignment and sign-in sheets, Team Captain shift reports
- Work cooperatively with building partners to advance, staff and execute arena small events and components of larger ticketed events (GA, VIP, etc.)
- Coordinate the assembly and delivery of team member engagement
- Understands and leverages strengths and actively identifies development opportunities for self and others.
- Contribute to relevant sections of new hire orientation sessions for part-time team members.
- Can operate as a contact for clarification and guidance.
- Support the training of event staff and contribute to entering incident reports into the reporting database (24/7 Software).
- Ongoing assessment of security team members and operations.
- Support management in hiring, training, discipline, coaching, resolving grievances, submit payroll and terminations when necessary.
- Coursework in Business, Criminal Justice, Hospitality, Sports Management, or related field of study or relevant experience preferred
- Minimum of one year's experience in supporting/ supervising Team Members at a similar facility preferred
- Experience in security operations preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent
