Private Equity Backed Beverage Manufacturing company is seeking a Corporate Controller to join their executive team in Scottsdale, AZ! This individual will be accountable for overseeing the accounting department, inventory accounting, cash flow oversight, and day-to-day financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Direct the preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial packages, along with commentary and key supporting materials.
• Manage the core accounting operations including billing, ledger management, and payroll processes.
• Ensure adherence to all financial regulations, industry standards, and statutory requirements.
• Establish and uphold accounting policies, procedural standards, and internal frameworks to preserve financial data quality.
• Generate and evaluate monthly financial reports such as P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow summaries for precision and consistency.
• Manage external audit processes and serve as the primary contact for the auditing team.
• Mentor and lead an accounting team, combining tactical execution with strategic oversight in a highly involved leadership role.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline from a highly regarded university; CPA license is highly desired.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in accounting and financial leadership, including 5+ years in a publicly traded organization.
• Background in public accounting is essential, with preference for candidates from Big 4 firms.
• Experience in manufacturing and/or consumer goods is required.
• Exceptional leadership, collaboration, and communication abilities.

Total compensation will depend on experience and location, ranging from $180,000 to $220,000 + Bonus & Equity. This position in on-site in Scottsdale, AZ.
