We are seeking a skilled Tax Supervisor to assist with and oversee the preparation, review, and compliance of federal, state, and local tax filings for a growing organization. The Tax Supervisor will supervise a team of tax professionals, ensure compliance with regulations, and provide valuable insights for tax planning and strategy. This role requires a solid understanding of tax laws and a commitment to accuracy and timeliness.

Key Responsibilities:
    • Oversee the preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax returns, including corporate, partnership, and individual filings.
    • Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
    • Manage quarterly and annual tax provisions and estimates.
    • Assist with providing recommendations for tax-saving opportunities and strategies.
    • Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and advise management on their potential impact.
    • Assist in developing and implementing tax policies and procedures.
    • Supervise, train, and mentor a team of tax professionals.
    • Review team members' work for accuracy and compliance, providing constructive feedback.
    • Foster a collaborative and efficient working environment.
    • Prepare and coordinate responses for tax audits and inquiries.
    • Maintain accurate and organized tax records and documentation.
    • Partner with internal departments to ensure alignment on tax matters.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA or EA is a plus.
  • 3+ years of tax experience in public accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
