Vaco is partnering with a rapidly growing, employee-focused company in West Phoenix to find an experienced Accounts Payable Manager. This is a fully onsite role offering up to $95,000 per year, depending on experience. We're looking for a strong leader with 5+ years of accounts payable leadership experience. In this role, you'll oversee the accurate and timely processing of invoices, maintain and strengthen vendor relationships, and help drive process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Review and authorize invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Match and reconcile invoices against purchase orders and receiving documentation.
  • Manage the scheduling and processing of vendor payments, including electronic funds transfers, checks, and ACH transactions.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure prompt payments while maintaining optimal cash reserves.
  • Lead and support the accounts payable team through training, performance management, and professional development initiatives.
  • Assign tasks and manage team workloads to ensure timely and efficient invoice and payment processing.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to support effective communication and collaboration.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies or issues related to invoices and payments in a timely manner.
  • Perform regular reconciliations of accounts payable ledgers to maintain accuracy and integrity of financial records.
  • Compile and deliver accounts payable reports and insights to management for financial planning and review.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in an accounts payable or similar role.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
