Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking an Asset Controller to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $135,000 to $145,000 per year.

• Reviews full-cycle accounting of assigned portfolio of assets including preparation and analysis of the financial statements, general ledgers, subsidiary ledgers, budgets, cash flow projections and review of job cost reports.
• Applies knowledge of accounting and tax issues to determine impact on operations and cash flows in preparing asset level models.
• Leads technical accounting research and application for renewable energy and data center infrastructure asset classes; writes guidance memos to document interpretations and application of accounting standards.
• Updates and analyzes results at least quarterly for internal monitoring and external track records.
• Prepares and/or reviews asset level financial statements to meet lender reporting requirements and work with Financial Reporting to assist in the preparation or review of financial statements to meet investor requirements.
• Prepares, reviews and presents internal financial reporting and analysis, including asset management reports.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Related Field
• 7-10 years previous accounting or finance experience
• MBA, CFA or additional designation a plus
• CPA (preferred)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and Word

• Extensive knowledge of GAAP accounting
• Experience in Yardi, MRI, J.

• Real estate, private equity, and/or alternative investments experience, and tax-equity partnership accounting
