Summary

We are seeking a Director of Finance to join our leadership team at Spectrum Healthcare. This pivotal role will oversee all aspects of the finance department, focusing on strategic financial leadership, risk management and team development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the organization's mission and goals.
• Facilitate the annual budgeting process, create forecasts and manage the company's financial resources.
• Analyze financial data, prepare reports, and provide insights to senior management and stakeholders
• Provide direction and supervision for finance, accounting, billing and facilities/maintenance staff.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks
• Establish benchmarks for financial performance and monitoring progress.
• Ensure compliance by adhering to financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards (like GAAP
• Present financial reports and analysis to the executive team, board of directors, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting or related field;
  Master's degree preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including staff supervision.
• Proficiency in financial forecasting, budgeting, financial reporting, and strategic financial planning is essential.
• A strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and auditing procedures is necessary.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are needed to present financial information to various stakeholders and collaborate with other teams.
