Sr. Mortgage Post Closing QC Analyst

Agility 360 is searching for an experienced Sr. Post Closing QC Analyst for a permanent position with our established banking client in Phoenix, AZ. The Sr. Post Closing QC Analyst is responsible for coordinating the operational aspects for an assigned pipeline of mortgage whole loan transactions, which will often be the larger and more complex transactions. The analyst will interact with 3rd‑party diligence firms and work closely with counter parties to clear conditions on loans for purchase or sale.

Duties include reviewing collateral, trailing documents, and custodian reports, directing servicing transfers and MERS updates, acting as a subject‑matter expert for mortgage assignments outside of MERS, and utilizing strong spreadsheet skills to streamline the operations of the mortgage purchase team.

• Interact with counter parties in the operational aspects of mortgage loan purchases and sales, often involving larger and more complex transactions.
• Interact with 3rd‑party due‑diligence vendors that review mortgage loans for the bank.
• Utilize underwriting knowledge to help resolve conditions; prior underwriter experience is favorably considered.
• Work closely with customers to clear conditions needed to purchase loans and with investors to clear conditions on loan sales by the bank.
• Review collateral, trailing documents, and reporting from document custodians.
• Coordinate servicing transfers.
• Act as a primary MERS system user and subject‑matter expert for assignments outside of MERS.
• Manage assigned loan pipeline to ensure deadlines are met.
• Serve as customer liaison to ensure expectations are met, service standards are adhered to, and issues are elevated and resolved in a timely manner.
• Utilize strong Excel / spreadsheet skills to streamline operations.

• 3+ years of experience in mortgage operations (processing, underwriting, closing, post‑closing, or mortgage whole‑loan trading operations).
• Past experience with mortgage loans that have small defects (Scratch & Dent) will be favorably considered.
• Ideal candidate has experience in the operational aspects of mortgage whole‑loan transactions.
• Knowledge of credit, compliance, and collateral conditions commonly found on TPR securitization reports is a plus.
• Proficiency in MERS, servicing transfer coordination, document custodian report review, collateral review and collateral tracking.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong spreadsheet skills.
• College degree preferred, but not required.
• Self‑starter, self‑reliant, dependable, ability to work within and meet specific time constraints; ability to take ownership of items and see them through to completion.
• Comfortable in a fast‑paced work environment.
• Strong problem‑solving skills.
