Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Collect, analyze, perform due diligence and underwriting of new investment opportunities.
  • Provide general and financial modeling to analyze property performance to make recommendations and interests to pursue.
  • Keep abreast of current industry market conditions and trends.
  • Underwrite acquisition targets and prepare analytical reports.
  • Review & propose budgets to analyze prospective acquisitions' current actuals vs. pro forma financials to make hold/sell/refinance recommendations.
  • Prepare & present presentation materials for new and existing investments.
  • Provide support for the acquisition, financing, and disposition process.
  • Assist with capital market activities, property asset management, and operational responsibilities.
  • Assist with investor reporting requests.
  • Facilitate and assist with monthly reporting, trending, forecasting, and projections.
  • Make recommendations regarding the operation of the properties.
  • Conduct escrow analysis, construction draws, replacement reserve reimbursements, and performance analysis for each property.
  • Value existing real estate assets based on analysis of historical operating & financial performance.
  • Financial model future real estate asset financial performance based on company operating standards and specific due diligence information.
  • Compile, log, and interpret due diligence information relating to financial asset performance, real estate assets, physical asset condition, market conditions, and results of third‑party reports.
  • Financial model related to development & construction of new real estate development projects.
  • Analyze all transactions, including cash on cash return and leveraged/unleveraged returns.
  • Prepare investment analysis package including transaction overview, market overview, and results of financial analysis, including sensitivity analysis.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor and/or Master’s Degree. Preference in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
  • Excellent critical reasoning, quantitative, and analytical skills.
  • Deep understanding of financial concepts.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge.
  • Ability to manipulate large amounts of data in Excel.
  • Past operational experience in residential property management.
