Sr Tax Analyst

* POSITION SUMMARY:

** The Senior Tax Analyst assists with tax compliance, concentrating on preparation and review of various tax returns (Federal, State, etc.) as well as the calculation of consolidated book-tax differences. The Senior Tax Analyst also engages in a variety of other tax matters which may include audit support, tax provisioning, planning or forecasting.

** PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
*** Preparation and/or review of more complex federal and state income tax returns.
* Preparation of more complex consolidated book-tax differences for tax compliance
* Support or manage various tax audits or appeals.
* Respond to all manners of tax notices.
* Engage and contribute to department projects or initiatives. Such matters may include including research, planning, forecasting, tax provisioning, state apportionment or other projects as they occur.
* Mentor and develop tax analysts.

* QUALIFICATIONS:

*** 5 years of recent corporate tax or public accounting experience.
* Experience with tax software, preferably Corp Tax.
* Experience with tax research software, preferably BNA, RIA or CCH.
* Understanding of accounting concepts and the application of those concepts to tax related issues.
*
* MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

*** 3-5 years of corporate tax, public accounting or related experience
** This is a hybrid role requiring onsite presence in our Phoenix, AZ office. This candidate will be required to work onsite 4-days per week, with the option to work 1-day per week remote.*
