Member Care Representative; Part-Time

• Utilize positive and professional communication and multitasking skills when receiving members’ calls, determining the nature of members’ business, providing information, and directing members to the appropriate person or department.
• Provide members with account balance, activity, and history upon request.
• Perform transactions, check withdrawals, transfers, and account maintenance.
• Assist with dividend verification, common inquiries, non‑sufficient funds (NSF) checks, and statement copies.
• Perform loan payments, term calculations, and loan payoff information.
• Inform members of savings, checking, money market, share certificates, IRA, and club account features and benefits.
• Provide documents as requested by members.
• Perform research to resolve escalated issues.
• Assist members with explanations of transactions on accounts.
• Set up member access to online banking and telephone banking.
• Maintain knowledge of the Credit Union’s field of membership.
• Assist members with deposit account rates, stop payment orders, check copies, overdraft line‑of‑credit advances, and courtesy pay.
• Coordinate with branches to schedule member appointments.
• Explain, promote, and inform members of Credit Union products and services.
• Attend assigned team meetings and/or training sessions.

• High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED).
• 1 year of customer service or call‑center experience.
• Experience in a financial institution/credit union call‑center environment, or teller/banker experience preferred.

• Target hiring range $17.00 / hr – $23.00 / hr, depending on experience and prior to any incentives.
