- Proactively generate deal flow within the DeFi investment strategy, across both venture and liquid investments
- Conduct thorough analysis of DeFi protocols, tokenomics, and market dynamics
- Create detailed investment memos and financial models for potential investments
- Monitor market trends and identify emerging opportunities in the DeFi space
- Build and maintain relationships within the DeFi ecosystem
- Screen incoming investment opportunities
- Support deal flow management and pipeline tracking
- Attend relevant industry events and network with founders
- Monitor portfolio company performance and token metrics
- Prepare regular portfolio updates and performance reports
- Support portfolio companies with strategic initiatives and research
- Track competitive landscape and market developments
- Identify trends and segments to continuously perfect the investment strategy
- Write blog posts and knowledge nuggets (through medium and twitter)
- Represent the firm at industry events and conferences
- Bachelor's degree or higher with technical background (e.g., Computer science)
- 1-4 years of experience in VC investment, trading, or development in De Fi
- Previous experience at a crypto investment fund is highly preferred
- Proven track record of successful DeFi investments
- Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills
- Data oriented and have proven ability to interpret and synthesize data, making recommendations to drive business decisions
- Deep understanding of DeFi protocols, market mechanics, and crypto markets
- Self-starter mentality with ability to work independently
