Job Summary
Medcor is seeking an EMT, Paramedic, or LPN on a PRN basis to serve as an Onsite Health Nurse at our employer‑based occupational health clinic in Phoenix, AZ. The clinic operates 7 days a week from 10 AM to 12 AM. As this is a PRN role, there are no guaranteed hours; the position is filled on an as‑needed basis.
The Onsite Health Nurse collaborates with Medcor’s medical and operational leadership, local medical providers, client staff, and key contacts within the client’s corporate structure. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include patient care, workers’ compensation case management, Return to Work (RTW) program facilitation, and treatment plan monitoring, in coordination with outside medical providers.
Typical Day- Participate in daily operations at Medcor’s on‑site clinic.
- Provide superior customer service to client employees.
- Assess and treat workplace injuries and illnesses using Medcor’s Evidence‑Based Medicine protocols (Medcor Care Protocols, MCPs).
- Build and maintain internal team relationships.
- Support onsite employee health and wellness efforts.
- Conduct pre‑employment and post‑offer screenings.
- Document care in state‑of‑the‑art EMR and related tools.
- Manage cases and perform medical charting.
- Have valid licensure for the position you are applying for (EMT, Paramedic, or LPN).
- Hold current CPR/BLS certification.
- Be proficient with computers and related technology (cell phones, texting, fax machines, EMR software).
- Be physically capable of lifting a 50‑lb emergency response bag.
- Excel in verbal and written communication.
- Possess a positive and outgoing personality and a passion for providing compassionate care.
- Be willing to go above and beyond.

- Experience in a worksite clinic environment.
- Relevant occupational health experience.
- Clinical experience in emergency medicine or critical care.
