RN Coordinator Transfer Center Nights

Position Summary

To coordinate Transfer Center transfers from the initial call through patient discharge and follow-up, providing the highest quality service to physicians, nurses, patients, and other medical professionals.

• Must possess the ability to interact and communicate in English, both orally and written, with all levels of staff, physicians, patients, and families in an effective manner, exhibiting tact, enthusiasm, and patience.
• Must be sensitive to cultural and bilingual issues.

Transfer Center EMT/Paramedic

Minimum:
Associate’s Degree in Nursing, or equivalent, from an accredited program.

Preferred:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

Minimum: 4 years clinical experience in an acute care setting.

Preferred: RN experience in an ER/Trauma, Neurosciences and/or Cardiovascular setting. Knowledge of, and the ability to apply Inter Qual criteria.

Required:

Current Arizona, or other compact state, Registered Nurse license; BLS.

Preferred: ACLS;
Applicable professional certification i.e. CCRN, CEN, CNRN.
