Dining Room Assistant

Lenawee Medical Care Facility is proud to serve senior care patients through a holistic approach. Our nursing home is set up in mini-communities that are clean, vibrant and active, exhibiting an at-home atmosphere that is personalized for each resident. We offer traditional nursing services such as therapy, hospice care, long-term care, and skilled nursing. Our rehabilitative therapy services include physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy, along with therapeutic recreation.

We are looking for Dining Room Assistants who have a passion for caring for others, are team oriented and possess a strong dependable work ethic.

• Cleaning, organizing and attention to detail are preferred skills
• Provide proof of a High School Diploma or GED
• Pass a Criminal Background Check, Pre-employment Physical and Drug Screen
• Must be able to work a swing shift and every other weekend including some holidays

Dining Room Assistants assist in the resident dining rooms during mealtimes. They are responsible for taking the resident meal orders, preparing drinks and getting appetizers, passing meal trays, refilling drinks, and clearing both finished trays in the dining room and collecting room trays. Dining Room Assistants are responsible for prepping the dining rooms before each meal service in addition to cleaning the dining rooms after each meal service.
