- Minimum Requirements
- Education:
- Graduate of an EMT-P training course approved under Arizona 9 A.A.C. 25, Articles 2, 4, and 5. Triage course completed prior to 6 months and prior to the triage assignment.
- Knowledge of principles of growth and development; ability to assess data and identify patients' age-specific requirements; provide age-appropriate care. Splinting, EKG and Chest Tube competencies, and all other department check-off lists completed within three months of hire.
- Licensure/
Certifications:- ADHS Paramedic Certification or Arizona State Certified, BLS and ACLS.
- PALS within 9 months of hire.
- Preferred Requirements:
- Experience:
Previous work experience in an Emergency Room. - Certification/registration:
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Basic and Advanced Trauma Life Support. National Licensure by the NREMT Board.
