Position: Pharmacy Technician, Fulfillment - Amazon Pharmacy

We are looking for a Pharmacy Technician to join us on our journey to make it drastically easier for customers to find, choose, afford, and engage with the services, products, and professionals they need to get and stay healthy! An active in-state pharmacy technician license is required to be considered.
Key
Job Responsibilities:Assist pharmacist in filling prescription items, as permitted by the state board of pharmacyMaintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules and regulationsWork daily with Leadership to ensure the right medications are put in the right packetsRun automated machinery required to pre-sort and package medicationsFill exception trays with appropriate medicationTransition Amazon Pharmacy orders through different workflow stages from initial dispense through quality controlCount and fill prescription vials and affix labels on bulk prescription itemsPack and ship completed orders including printing and affixing appropriate labels on dispenser, shipping boxesSort and triage the right boxes to ship at the right timeAid the distribution manager and distribution pharmacists with receiving, shipping, counting, and packingClean, and help maintain, equipment and work areasPackage medications for dispensing and for deliveryWork a flexible schedule - shifts will possibly start and end outside of normal business hoursPhysical Requirements:During shifts last up to 12 hours (standard full-time shifts are 10 hours excluding overtime, flex and part-time shifts may vary):Standing, bending, reaching above the head, kneeling, crouching and/or stretchingLifting and moving products up to 49 lbs in weightManual dexterity of hands and wristsBASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Active and unrestricted in-State Board of Pharmacy License (This includes Pharmacy Technician, Trainee, and Assistant Licenses)High school diploma or equivalent6+ months of experience working with computer and web based toolsAbility to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisor. Ability to read and understand English language labelling on product cartons and prescription labelsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
National Pharmacy technician Certification (PTCB or NHA)Demonstrated ability to work as an effective team memberDemonstrated organization skills and attention to detailAbility to recognize and identify patient medications6+ months of experience working with computer and web based toolsExperience working under pressure in a fast-paced work environment while consistently meeting standards for productivity and quality.Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
