Resident Care Associate

Overview

Join Resident Care Associate at Phoenix Senior Living to provide highest degree of quality care and services to assisted living and memory care residents.

Mon‑Fri; every other weekend required.

Provide hands‑on care, physical and emotional support, and maintain safe, comfortable home‑like environment for residents.

• Participate in development and updates of Personalized Service Plans; attend family review meetings as requested.
• Follow hydration schedule established for residents.
• Complete resident meal attendance sheets; provide room service for residents not dining in dining room.
• Know and comply with all resident rights.
• Initiate, assign, and assist with activities as appropriate.
• Check all assigned residents daily for cleanliness, appropriate clothing, continence issues, and change in condition.
• Use proper sanitary procedures and universal precautions.
• Check assigned resident rooms daily for general cleanliness and neatness; take appropriate action; ensure high‑risk rooms are double‑checked.
• Assist with conducting laundry rooms and common areas; check for cleanliness and any exposed hazardous chemicals; take appropriate action.
• Complete all ADLs for assigned residents according to the resident’s Personalized Service Plan (PSP).
• Respond to security system and resident call bells promptly and immediately; take appropriate action including resetting call bells.

• High School education preferred and may be required by the state.
• Previous experience working with elders or disabled individuals, preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age to perform personal care aspects of the RCA position.
• Knowledge and experience in Assisted Living industry and Dementia care or Skilled Nursing, preferred.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings and flexible hours; available to customers at peak service delivery days and times.
