Location: Phoenix, AZ

Schedule: Per Diem/PRN Nights, 12 hour shifts

Compensation: $26.00 per hour

We are a critical illness recovery hospital committed to providing world‑class inpatient post‑ICU services. Telemetry Technicians play a central role in delivering compassionate and excellent patient care during crucial recovery periods.

• Continuously observe all assigned monitors, ensuring timely responses to alarms.
• Verify correct identification of basic rhythms, lethal rhythms, and artifacts,_maintain_EKG monitor alarms,_ and respond to all alarms as required.
• Complete EKG interpretations including rate, regularity, PR interval, QRS, QTI, QTc, ST segment, waveform alterations, and rhythm interpretation.
• Ensure strip interpretations are validated by RN.

• Must complete and pass an EKG class for Monitor Techs and required competencies on the education platform within 30 days of the start date, in addition to any other tests or competencies required by Select Medical.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred background as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Licensed Paramedic, or RN nursing student with EKG training (
  * LPNs are limited to working as telemetry tech only).
