Speach Language Pathologist Assistant - Home Health
For this position, we are seeking a part-time or full-time (10-25 caseload) Speech Language Pathologist Assistant. You will provide direct patient care at their residence, and treat patients with feeding, speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
Responsibilities:- Follow the direction and guidance of the master therapist supervisor
- Follow therapy and treatment plans for speech disorders
- Convey treatment results and patient progress to relevant parties
- Document and store treatment plans and progress reports
- Organize and update patient records
- Degree from an accredited Speech Therapy Program
- Previous solid experience in speech pathology
- Familiarity with communication disorders
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Positive and patient demeanor with passion to help and motivate others
