Reimbursement and Access Case Manager

Reimbursement and Access Case Manager within Alkermes Patient Access Services, serving as the primary contact for healthcare providers, insurance companies, and vendors to facilitate patient access to Alkermes products.

• act as subject matter expert on reimbursement, coverage policies, and product fulfillment;
• support patient transitions from inpatient to outpatient;
• develop internal and external relationships;
• document case activities accurately;
• troubleshoot reimbursement issues based on regional health plan knowledge.

• minimum 3 years case management or reimbursement hub experience;
• strong understanding of specialty injectable product reimbursement;
• excellent communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills;
• proficiency in Microsoft Office;
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

• experience with high-volume patient services, specialty pharmaceuticals, reimbursement processes, and regulatory compliance in a pharmaceutical setting;
• knowledge of medical and pharmacy benefit coverage;
• flexible supporting shifts from 8:30 am-8 pm ET with 15-20% travel for field visits and client meetings.

Supporting operations primarily remotely, with travel.
