  Assists in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures to treat heart disease under the supervision of a qualified physician. Performs baseline patient evaluations, monitors patient responses during procedures, and helps manage equipment and supplies.
• Certifications, Education Requirements, and
  
  Experience:
  
  High school diploma or GED, completion of a Cardiovascular Invasive program or equivalent experience, BLS required, ACLS may be required depending on the assignment, successfully passed the Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) exam, and credentialing such as AART certification. Typically requires 2+ years of clinical experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory or similar setting.
