Salary Range: $17.00 To $20.00 Hourly
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Direct Care Worker to join our team serving families in the Phoenix area. As a Direct Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing compassionate care and support to our clients in their daily activities. You will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to ensure that our clients receive the highest quality of care.
Your primary goal will be to improve the quality of life of our clients and help them maintain their independence.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification
- Experience working with elderly or disabled individuals
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor clients' health and report any changes to the healthcare team
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
Skills:
As a Direct Care Worker, you will utilize your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with our clients and their families. You will also use your attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure that our clients' needs are met. Additionally, your ability to work independently and as part of a team will be essential in providing the highest quality of care to our clients.
Finally, your physical strength and stamina will be utilized in assisting clients with mobility and other physical activities.
