- Day Shift
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide continuous observation and supervision of assigned patients.
- Maintain a safe environment and monitor for unsafe or high-risk behaviors.
- Observe and report changes in behavior, mood, or mental status to nursing staff.
- Provide calm, respectful, and supportive interaction with patients.
- Help prevent falls, wandering, self-harm, or other unsafe behaviors.
- Follow suicide precautions, behavioral health protocols, and facility policies.
- Maintain patient dignity, privacy, confidentiality, and professional boundaries.
- Document observations and promptly report emergencies or safety concerns.
- Follow infection control and workplace safety procedures.
- Current, valid, and unrestricted AZ license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a MHS.
- Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
- Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test,....).
