Pay RangeAnticipated Hiring Range: $26.50 - $32.00 hourly Full Range: $26.50 - $37.50 hourly Salary offers are based on the candidate's equivalent experience and internal equity with other employees within the same job classification. This position is eligible for overtime compensation for all hours worked over 40 in the designated workweek.

About the PositionApply to join the Ryan White team and help end the HIV Epidemic in Maricopa and Pinal County!
As the Ending the HIV Epidemic Health Educator with the Maricopa County Ryan White Program, you will help deliver Ending the HIV Epidemic (EHE) activities to Ryan White partners, medical providers, businesses, and community-based organizations. In this role, you will conduct EHE presentations and trainings, provide input on the development of educational methods and materials, participate in needs assessment work, collect client-driven feedback, and engage community members through social media, newsletters, and in-person outreach events.
This position will report to the Ending the HIV Epidemic Special Projects Manager.

- Bilingual skillsin English and Spanish

- One year of experience coordinating and administering Public Health programs with a focus on community engagement with diverse populations
- Bachelor's Degree in Public Health, Health Education, Communications, or a related field
- A combination of post-secondary education and/or job-related experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications on a year-for-year basis
- Experience with diverse communities to address social determinants of health needs
- Experience with survey and evaluation tools like Survey Monkey, etc.
- Experience with webinar and teleconference software like Microsoft Teams, Zoom, etc.
- Experience with design software or programs like Canva, etc.
- Experience working with communities impacted by HIV/AIDS
- Implements, presents, and markets Ending the HIV Epidemic (EHE) health education programs, designed to increase awareness and knowledge within the community
- Works collaboratively with the EHE Program and Positively You! campaign to coordinate local outreach activities and social media strategy
- Develops and implements ongoing consumer-focused communication strategies, including newsletters, social media outreach, and email campaigns. Provides guidance to the Senior Health Educator on EHE educational activities based on evaluation results
- Participates in needs assessment work and gathers client-driven feedback to support quality improvement initiatives with the Ryan White Program
- Recruits participants for EHE activities, coordinates scheduling classes and focus groups, and reviews program evaluations
- Attend and orchestrate outreach events to increase HIV prevention awareness, Ryan White services to the community
