The position is based at a healthcare facility. - Certifications, Education Requirements, and
Experience:
Certificate or diploma from an approved radiologic technology program, national certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB), and state licensure where applicable. Advanced Certification in Computed Tomography (CT) from ARRT or NMTCB required within 18 months of hire. Certification for Basic Life Support (BLS) is also required. This position typically requires at least two years of clinical experience. - Schedule:
Days shift, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. - Additional Responsibilities:
Performs procedures by verifying orders, educating patients, producing high-quality images, and troubleshooting equipment. Demonstrates competence in invasive or interventional procedures if applicable. Maintains equipment quality control and adheres to safety policies to ensure a secure environment. Independently performs procedures while adhering to regulatory, accreditation, and professional standards.
