Job Details- Certifications, Education, and
Experience:
Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited Radiologic Technology program;
National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT(R) or ARRT(NM)) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB (CNMT));
State Licensure required for AZ, WY, NV; includes Radiography or Nuclear Medicine and CT license prior to hire;
Advanced Certification in Computed Tomography required within 18 months of hire from ARRT(CT) or NMTCB (CT), respectively;
Certification for BLS is required. This position requires clinical knowledge typically achieved with two years of experience. - Schedule:
Days shift; 12-hour shift hours; minimum of 36 hours per week. - Additional Responsibilities:
Performs procedures by following and verifying referring provider orders, utilizing independent judgment, and applying learned methodologies. Ensures patient education regarding procedures, demonstrates professional conduct, and maintains accurate documentation. Operates equipment to produce high-quality images, troubleshoots equipment issues, and maintains a safe environment. Adheres to ethical and legal standards, maintains confidentiality, and monitors inventory to ensure non-interruption of services. - Submission:
Candidates must demonstrate effective communication skills, analyze data, and solve problems effectively.
