Job Overview
Join our team as a Cath Lab Tech in a dynamic cardiac cath lab environment, where you will play a critical role in performing various interventional procedures and assisting with patient care.
Unit Information- Unit Type: Cardiac Cath Lab
- Number of Beds: 3 main beds, plus 1 EP and 1 Hybrid bed
- Common Case Volume: 10-25 cases per day
- Perform the role of a scrub tech, assisting physicians during cardiac and vascular procedures.
- Utilize EMR systems, specifically Cerner and Xper, for patient record-keeping.
- Provide high-quality patient care in collaboration with circulating nurses and other medical staff.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a cardiac cath lab setting is required.
- Certifications: Must hold ARRT and BLS certifications. State licensure is required (AZ MRTBE CRT).
- Level I Trauma

Hours:
36 hours per week - Weekend Requirement: 8-12 call days per month
- Holidays: Participation in a holiday schedule is expected.
- Orientation: 2 days of unit-specific orientation will be provided.
- Scrub Colors: Provided
- Equipment: Experience with Phillips and Siemens equipment is beneficial.
- Response Time: 30-minute response time for call requirements.
- Support Services: Radiology and pharmacy services available 24/7.
- Patient Populations: Diverse cases including interventional cardiology, EP lab, mitral clip, TAVR, IABP, and Emtala placements.
