Event Setup Specialist (Full-Time)

Location:

Chateau Luxe Event Venue – Phoenix, AZ

Employment Type:

Full‑Time (40+ hours/week)

Base Pay Range: $20.00/hr – $24.00/hr

Required Availability:
Days, nights, weekends; occasional holidays. Ability to lift 50+ lbs.

Chateau Luxe is a premier luxury event venue in Phoenix, hosting upscale weddings, corporate events, galas, and social celebrations. Our setup & facilities team plays a critical role in bringing each event to life.

Position Overview

Seeking a reliable, hardworking team member to set up, break down, and maintain event spaces. Flexibility required for varying schedules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and break down event spaces according to layouts and timelines.
  • Move, place, and store heavy furniture, stages, dance floors, risers, and equipment.
  • Arrange tables, chairs, linens, décor, and event infrastructure.
  • Reset rooms quickly and efficiently between events.
  • Assist with facility upkeep and basic maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of storage areas and equipment.
  • Follow safety procedures and handle equipment properly.
  • Collaborate with event managers, banquet captains, and other departments.
Schedule & Availability
  • Full-time hours with weekly variation.
  • Available days, nights, weekends, and some holidays.
  • Event-based scheduling with early mornings and late nights as needed.
Physical Requirements
  • Lift, push, and carry 50–75 lbs regularly.
  • Prolonged standing, walking, bending, repetitive motion.
  • Safely move heavy furniture, stages, and dance floors.
Qualifications
  • Prior event setup, facilities, warehouse, or hospitality experience preferred (not required).
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently under tight timelines.
  • Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
  • Willingness to take direction and adapt to changing event needs.
