Location: Holiday Inn & Suites Phoenix Airport North

Overview: The Housekeeping Supervisor manages housekeeping functions in assigned sections and assumes all Housekeeping Manager duties in their absence.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect Room Attendant’s work daily to ensure standards and productivity.
  • In the absence of the Housekeeping Manager, inspect VIP rooms and report their status.
  • Oversee the closing of floors, ensuring carts are clean and stocked.
  • Complete and submit daily assignment records timely.
  • Maintain key control and handle Lost and Found items per standards.
  • Monitor cleanliness of carts, linen closets, and stairways.
  • Assign daily duties to staff and ensure proper carryover of work.
  • Maintain communication with the Front Office and Engineering via pager/radio.
  • Report on out-of-order rooms to the Guest Services Manager.
  • Initiate and follow up on repair work orders.
  • Assist in training housekeeping staff.
  • Ensure biannual cleaning projects are completed.
  • Maintain overall guest satisfaction and conduct room inspections.

    • Qualifications:

    • High School diploma or equivalent.
    • 2-3 years of hotel or related experience preferred.
    • College coursework in related fields helpful.
    • Previous supervisory experience preferred.
