Picture this: the sun rising over South Mountain, casting long shadows across eighteen holes of immaculate desert golf, and you’re the one who sets the tone for every guest’s day. At Arizona Grand Resort & Spa — Phoenix’s only all-suite, four-diamond resort — you won’t just be managing pace of play. You’ll be curating moments guests will talk about long after they’ve left the desert behind.
The Role , ReimaginedThis is golf hospitality at its most dynamic. You’re part concierge, part course whisperer, part goodwill ambassador — gliding across the course, greeting golfers with warmth, and keeping the round moving with the kind of seamless grace that turns a good day into an unforgettable one.
- Set the pace with confidence, charm, and a sharp eye for flow.
- Welcome every golfer like they’re the only one on the course.
- Call groups to the first tee and keep the energy right.
- Share local knowledge, resort highlights, and a few rules of the game.
- Keep the course immaculate — ball marks repaired, bunkers raked, paths swept clean.
- Stay ahead of Arizona’s summer heat by keeping water stations stocked and guests hydrated.
- Partner with outside services to make group events run like clockwork.
- Be the eyes, ears, and heartbeat of the course — every single day.
- A high school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- A genuine love of golf — prior experience is a real plus.
- A valid state driver’s license.
- Comfort behind the wheel of a cart, even when the course gets busy.
- Resilience for the Arizona sun — about 90% of your day will be spent outdoors.
- The strength to lift 20–30 lbs. when restocking water jugs.
- A working knowledge of golf etiquette and the unwritten rules that make the game great.
- Ethical, grounded, and guest-obsessed.
- A clear, confident communicator — in words and in presence.
- Polished and professional, embodying the elevated standard of a four-diamond resort.
Set against the dramatic backdrop of South Mountain Preserve, Arizona Grand Resort & Spa is more than a workplace — it’s a landmark. Phoenix itself is a city on the rise, blending desert serenity with urban energy, year-round sunshine with world-class dining, culture, and recreation just minutes away. Here, every shift comes with a view, every guest interaction is a chance to shine, and every day on the course feels like a small escape — even when you’re the one running the show.
If you’re ready to turn golf into an art form and hospitality into your signature, the course — and the city — are waiting.
