We’re looking for a People and Communications Analyst to join our People Experience team and help bring data to life, strengthen our systems, and elevate how we connect with our employees.
Overview
In this role, you’ll support key reporting and compliance efforts, lead HRIS and data-related initiatives, and craft internal communications that keep our teams aligned, engaged, and informed. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys digging into data and telling the story behind it, all while driving forward practical, people-focused solutions.
Duties & Responsibilities
Reporting & Analytics
- Build dashboards and reports to support strategic people decisions.
- Analyze workforce, benefits , and exit interview data to identify trends, opportunities, and actionable insights.
- Prepare and submit required compliance reports (e.g., EEO-1, California Pay Data, SF Healthcare Ordinance).
- Manage recurring reporting, including the monthly People Experience report s and quarterly exit analysis.
- Serve as backup support for conducting exit interviews.
People Systems (HRIS & LMS)
- Co-lead the implementation or re-implementation of the HRIS platform to align with organizational needs.
- Manage HRIS setup and administration , including configuration and system integrations.
- Administer the HRIS and LMS platforms, leading regular audits and identifying system improvement opportunities.
- Act as the project point of contact, ensuring HRIS timelines and deliverables are met.
Internal Communications
- Create and manage content for the People Experience SharePoint site, including news articles , monthly wellness updates, and milestone celebrations.
Collaboration & Innovation
- Mentor team members on analytics and systems functionality.
- Lead and support projects that enhance reporting, systems, or employee insights.
- Champion innovation in PX tools, processes, and communications.
- Provide backup support to the People Experience Generalist and actively contribute to a collaborative team culture.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree is highly preferred.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in HR analytics, HRIS administration, internal communications, or a related field.
Knowledge and Skills
- Proficient in HR systems (e.g., UKG/Kronos, Workday), with experience in setup, administration, and auditing.
- Strong data analysis skills with the ability to turn insights into action using tools like Excel.
- Familiarity with compliance reporting (EEO-1, CA Pay Data, SF HCSO) and workforce metrics.
- Clear and concise communicator, with experience creating internal content (e.g., SharePoint updates, reports).
- Organized and detail-oriented, with strong project coordination skills.
- Approaches work with authenticity, curiosity, and creativity—open to feedback, eager to learn, and ready to solve problems collaboratively.
- Brings grit and follow-through, especially when navigating complexity or change.
Work Environment
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a general, climate controlled , office environment.
Physical Requirements
- This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
