The role

As an HR Generalist at IPL Schoeller, you will be a key partner in driving HR initiatives that build a culture of performance, accountability, and growth. This role requires expertise across core HR functions—recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance—while ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a trusted resource for employees and managers, resolving workplace concerns and promoting engagement.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for non-salaried roles, including interviews, screenings, and onboarding.
  • Ensure consistent application of HR policies and compliance with labor laws.
  • Support performance appraisal processes and employee development initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and data integrity in HR systems.
  • Collaborate on safety programs, return-to-work initiatives, and well-being activities.
  • Prepare HR reports and KPIs to support strategic decisions.
  • Assist with divisional HR projects and community engagement programs.
Qualifications
  • Diploma or degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (Bachelor's preferred).
  • HR certification (CIPD, SHRM, PHR) highly desirable.
  • 8–10 years in a generalist HR role.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
  • Exposure to multi-site or fast-paced environments is a plus.
