HR Generalist- West Valley

Vaco Phoenix is looking for an HR Generalist for a top client in the West Valley. The HR Generalist will be responsible for open benefits enrollment, onboarding, employee relations, and day-to-day HR duties. This position is fully onsite paying up to $65,000 per year. • Address employee relations concerns and oversee performance improvement actions.
• Advise leaders and staff on workplace policies and labor regulations.
• Offer guidance on HR programs and performance matters.
• Respond quickly to inquiries from corporate leadership and employees.
• Conduct and document workplace investigations.
• Review investigation findings and suggest appropriate solutions.
• Prepare clear reports and summaries for leadership.
• Support candidates through pre-employment steps and onboarding.
• Facilitate orientation for new corporate employees.
• Oversee terminations and flag potential employee relations risks.
• Maintain compliance with federal and state employment laws.
• Represent the company during unemployment hearings.

• Strong problem solving, reporting, and analytical skills
• Experience leveraging MS Office Suite
• Superior knowledge of HRIS systems, and comfortable learning new technology systems, as needed
• 3 years of human resources generalist or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Employee Relations experience
