Human Resources Generalist - Phoenix, AZ or Denver, CO

Base pay range: $30.00/hr - $44.00/hr
SummaryCoordinates human resources activities including but not limited to employment and employee relations.
Duties and Responsibilities- Assist with administration of company-wide human resources policies, procedures, and practices in accordance with corporate objectives and legal requirements.
- Coordinate and/or conduct employee‑relations activities and programs including counseling, policy interpretation, new employee orientation, and recognition programs.
- Conduct exit interviews and communicate findings to management.
- Respond to inquiries regarding organizational processes, policies, and programs.
- Conduct ongoing information and training sessions to develop employees and provide support.
- Coordinate communication of projects including employee policy handbook, 401(k) open enrollment, and recognition.
- Identify potential employee‑relations issues and make recommendations to management.
- Conduct investigations into claims of harassment or other violations.
- Coordinate administration of workers’ compensation and unemployment claims.
- Assist in administration of compensation and benefits programs.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent, two to four years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Working knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
- Basic competence in duties and tasks of supervised employees.
- Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
- Ability to work independently and as part of teams and committees.
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prepare reports and business correspondence.
- Ability to deal effectively with people at all organizational levels.
- Good judgment and sound decision‑making.
- Creative, flexible, and innovative team player.
- Commitment to excellence and high standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Versatility, flexibility, and willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
