We’re seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to serve as a strategic liaison between HR and our client groups across Arizona, Nevada, Wyoming, Colorado, and California. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys frequent travel, thrives in dynamic environments, and understands the unique challenges and strengths of smaller, locally rooted teams.

This position involves regular travel throughout AZ, NV, WY, CO, and CA to collaborate directly with leaders and employees in smaller communities. You’ll be the face of HR—listening, learning, and leading initiatives that make a real impact.

This position may either be based out of the Phoenix, AZ metro area or the Northern Colorado Greely/Ft. Collins area.

This position will be located in the Phoenix, AZ metro area or Greeley, CO area. This position will be in office various days per week, will be highly visible and will be traveling in Arizona, Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska, Nevada and California.

What You’ll Do Strategic Partnering
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, offering tailored HR solutions.

  • Lead people-related aspects of change management, organizational design, and other projects.

  • Analyze data trends (engagement, turnover, etc.) and develop proactive strategies.

Performance & Employee Relations
  • Foster a high-performance culture that values morale, productivity, and retention.

  • Provide coaching and guidance on performance management and employee relations.

  • Conduct investigations and resolve workplace concerns with professionalism and care.

Talent & Development
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and Leadership Development to ensure the right people are in the right roles.

  • Support succession planning and career development for high-potential employees.

  • Champion leadership programs and performance review cycles.

HR Innovation & Policy
  • Lead policy and process improvements with a focus on clarity and compliance.

  • Collaborate with leaders to implement HR policies and regulatory standards.

  • Participate in cross-functional HR initiatives and contribute to organizational growth.

Who You Are
  • A relationship-builder who’s comfortable working with remote and local teams.

  • Experienced in supporting smaller locations and understands the nuances of rural workforce dynamics.

  • A confident communicator and strategic thinker with strong coaching and conflict resolution skills.

  • Comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.

Qualifications Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field

  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience demonstrating expanding scope and responsibility

  • Expertise in employee relations, performance management, and talent development

  • Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Valid Arizona driver’s license

Preferred
  • PHR or SPHR certification

  • Master’s degree in HR or Business

  • Coaching certification
