Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Service Now Portal Developer with strong front-end and Service Now platform expertise to design, develop, and optimize interactive and user-friendly Service Portals. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of UX design, custom widget development, and API integrations to deliver seamless digital experiences on the Service Now platform.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop custom Service Now Service Portals, ensuring intuitive and user-centric interfaces.
- Build, customize, and enhance widgets using React.js, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and UI/UX designers to translate requirements into technical designs.
- Implement and integrate APIs for seamless interaction between Service Now and external systems.
- Optimize portal performance, responsiveness, and functionality.
- Develop and maintain catalog items, workflows, and business rules supporting the portal experience.
- Troubleshoot portal-related issues, ensuring stability, usability, and scalability.
- Adhere to Service Now best practices for code, configuration, and documentation.
- 6+ years of experience in Service Now development, with a focus on Service Portal design and customization.
- Strong expertise in React.js, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Proven experience developing custom widgets and handling complex UX/UI scenarios.
- Solid understanding of Service Now architecture, including workflows, catalog items, and client/server scripts.
- Hands-on experience with API integrations (REST/SOAP) within Service Now.
- Ability to optimize user experience and ensure high portal performance and scalability.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Service Now Certified Application Developer (CAD) or equivalent certification.
- Experience with Angular
JS or modern JavaScript frameworks. - Familiarity with ITSM, HRSD, or CSM modules in Service Now.
