Job DescriptionThe preferred candidate will have:
- At least 2 years of experience in software development working with various technologies like Java 1.5+, Spring 3.0 or above, Web Services - SOAP or REST, JSP, Servlet, Eclipse, HTML, JBoss Application Server, and Security management Tool – Siteminder.
- Exposure to Jira, Maven, and SOAP UI is preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience working in a Global Delivery model, i.e., onsite-offshore model.
- At least 2 years of experience in SDLC methodologies such as Waterfall or Agile (preferred).
- At least 2 years of experience in project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.
- Knowledge of building and configuration management related processes.
- Technical aptitude and experience with software tools and techniques used in software development.
- Ability to collaborate with an offshore team.
- High analytical ability and impactful communication with stakeholders.
- Ability to participate in requirements analysis, estimation, development, and code reviews activities.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks with quality and track them to closure.
- Experience in Security, credit cards, and Payments domain would be a plus.
The basic qualifications for this role are:
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Alternatively, three years of progressive experience in the specialty can be considered in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 2 years of experience with Information Technology.
